A regrettable stay in a rundown motel

The only highlight was the service at check-in. They refunded our total when we expressed our dissatisfaction. It was a rare moment of kindness in a dismal place.

The experience was marred by the filthy conditions-horribly stained carpets, a strange smell in the hallway, and a general atmosphere that felt unsafe and unwelcoming.

That was recently refurbished hotel set in shopping area, very close to restaurants, Harvey, and stores. The rooms were bright and clean and had soft beds. The bathroom was clean, that's important. The staff were pleasant and accommodating in case of questions.

The hallway reeked of pot, and it felt unsafe with sketchy individuals hanging around. We couldn't even open our room door after it was unlocked, and the cleanliness was utterly appalling.

We loved the cozy, clean Queen room with a comfy bed, and it was great being so close to delicious restaurants. The kids enjoyed the nearby beach access. Just a heads up, the parking lot could use a bit of tidying up, but that didn't take away from our overall experience 😊
